Rocket was formally adopted on December 20, 2011 by Tyler, a young man from Chenango Forks, NY. He will be
boarded for the winter in order for Tyler to work with him inside and will then move to his real home. Tyler plans to
show Rocket this coming summer in walk and trot competition.

Cute as a Button was adopted on September 18, 2011 by a family in Arcade, NY.
Button will be joining 3 other horses at her new home and will be the exclusive property of the family's little girl who we
know already loves Button.

Lucky D was adopted on August 21, 2011 by a family in Hamden, NY. This lucky
horse will be an "instructor", teaching his new mother and 10 year old daughter how to ride. In addition to his
duties, he will be involved with trail riding.
Disco and Abi's Shooting Star were adopted on July 28, 2011 by a family in the
Deposit area. They will be joining several other horses at their new barn and a family with 3 boys who love horses.
They will both eventually be trained and ridden for pleasure.

China was adopted on July 23,2011 by a woman in the Deposit area. China will join one other horse who lives at
her new home and will be a "project horse" - learning to become a riding horse. Her new mother visited Doxy's several
times to make sure she was adopting just the right horse and now China will show her that her decision was the very best.

Amber was adopted on June 7, 2011 by Barb, one of our faithful volunteers.
Amber will remain at Doxy's since her new owner does not have any "horse facilities". She will be loved and ridden for
pleasure and joy.

Pearl, born June 16, 2010, was adopted on April 16, 2011 by a woman outside of the Albany area. This little filly
will have a "name change", either Heavenly Peaches or Trixie, and will definitely have the wonderful home and people that
every horse deserves. Her new mother has taken time off from work to bond with her new one and is already head over
heels in love with the filly who will be trained by her mother to be nothing but an excellent riding horse.
P.S The filly's final name is Dolly, per her new mother who says "she's just a little doll".

Pegasus was adopted on March 17, 2011 by a family in Northern New York State.
Peggy, as she's been affectionately known for the past 3 years while she lived at Doxy's, will appear in staged events
entered by her new owner as well as being loved and cared for in her new home.

Topaz was adopted on January 15, 2011 by a family who lives in Tioga Center,
NY for their 11 year old daughter. This handsome guy will be loved, spoiled and ridden for pleasure. Congratulations
to Topaz and his new folks!

Starlight was adopted on November 14, 2010 and is in her new home with some of
her old friends, Comet and Pork Chop. She has joined a family who loves trail riding and adores their horses.

Onyx was adopted on September 19, 2010 by a family in the Newark Valley, NY area
and will enjoy trail riding with his new owners. He will also be living in his new home with his buddy, J.P., from Doxy's.

J. P. was returned on November 28, 2010 to Doxy's by his family in the Newark
Valley, NY area where he had been living since September 19, 2010. They were no longer able to keep him but, happily,
J. P. will be living with Girly Girl and Copper by December 5, 2010. This is the second home where 3 Doxy's horses will
be living together after being adopted!!

Sampson was adopted by one of our
volunteers who met him on the day of our Open House in June. For his new owner, Sampson was a case of love at first
sight and it didn't take long before she adopted him on August 1, 2010. Sampson will be joining a Morgan barn and will
be used for trail riding as well as a horse for giving lessons to new riders.

Pork Chop was adopted on July 31, 2010 for a young girl from a family near Albany,
NY. He will spend his first year in the arena while his new mistress works with him and a riding instructor and then
be used for trail riding.

Comet was adopted on July 31, 2010 for the father of Pork Chop's new mistress.
Dad will use Comet for trail riding and looks forward to the time that his daughter and Pork Chop can be with him and Comet
on the trail.

This beautiful gelding was adopted by Dawn from Brackney, PA on July 24, 2010.
He went to his new home via a horse trailer driven by competitors at the Afton Fair. Stay tuned for more information
about Gold Dust and his new home and owner.

Girly Girl, also known as GG, was adopted on July 12, 2010 by the mother of Copper's
owner who shows Copper in 4-H competitions. GG will be used for light riding and is living the good life at her new
home.

Firefly went to his new home 7/11/2010 and is living with a woman who says
Firefly is like a puppy. He will be a companion to his new owner and will be ridden for short gentle rides.
His new owner reported spending her first full day with Firefly sitting out in the pasture while he munched away at the lush
grass!

We finally have a picture of our granddaughter, seven year old Lydia who lives in the Buffalo area,
and her horse. Spice went to her new home on 6/30/2010 after Lydia had saved all of her allowance and money from doing
extra jobs to buy her very own horse.
